When selecting curtains, consider the window length, header style, and lining for light filtering to create a harmonious and functional ambiance. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you make the right choice:

Step 1: Measure Your Windows

Before making any decisions, accurately measure your windows. Different window lengths require different curtain lengths. Here's a breakdown of the height variants, the first value is the width and the second value is height

5 feet Window: Standard curtain length. (60 x 60 inches) or (1.5 x 1.5 meters)

7 feet Door: Opt for curtains that extend slightly beyond the door's length. (60 x 84 inches) or (1.5 x 2.1 Meters)

8 feet Long Door: Similar to the 7 feet door, but with a little extra length. (60 x 96 inches) or (1.5 x 2.4 meters).

9 feet Long Door: Curtains should be longer to maintain an elegant look. (60 x 108 inches) or (1.5 x 2.7 meters)

Step 2: Choose the Header Style

The header style of your curtains impacts their appearance and functionality. Two common header styles are available:

Eyelet-Rod: Eyelet curtains have a series of 5 folds and 10 rings per piece in a set of 2 curtains along the top, making them easy to slide onto a curtain rod.

Pleat-Rod/Track: The American Pleat style has 4 distinct 3-pinch pleats and 6 hooks/rings per piece in a set of 2 curtains.

Step 3: Select the Lining

The lining of your curtains affects light filtering and privacy. Choose based on your preferences and needs:

No Lining: Allows the most light to filter through, by blocking 30-40% light, offering a soft and diffused ambiance. Suitable for spaces where privacy is not a primary concern.

Cotton Lining: Provides moderate light blocking from 60-70% making it a versatile choice. Ideal for spaces that require a balance between natural light and privacy.
Blackout Lining: Offers maximum light blocking of 98%, making it perfect for bedrooms or spaces where you need complete darkness and privacy.

Step 4: Calculate Curtain Coverage

Each set of curtains covers a width of 5 feet. If your window width is up to 5 feet, one set is sufficient. If your window is wider, we suggest that you purchase 2 sets.

Step 5: Consider Height Adjustments

Keep in mind that you can request for an adjustment in height by up to 5 inches (0.4 feet). This flexibility allows you to tailor the curtains to your window's specific dimensions. Note that size changes require prepaid orders and are non-returnable unless received damaged.
